Confidentiality in Therapy
Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to me. I treat everything you discuss with respect and consideration for your privacy. Under no circumstances will I share information about you without your permission. In the event that you want me to share some information about you with another professional, or with an institution (for example, your insurance company), I will request a written authorization from you. It is in a safe and comfortable environment that you can share important things about your background, difficult feelings and thoughts. Confidentiality of these disclosures is an important foundation of the treatment I provide.
Therapy for Adults
Dr. Haight specializes in the treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, depression, eating disorders, cutting,
relationship conflict, anger, stress management, grief and loss. She conducts a thorough assessment
of an individual's needs before proceeding with a treatment plan. Every treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs and is adjusted as required.
Therapy for Adolescents
Adolescents
need an active approach to therapy and Dr. Haight addresses this need.
She will work in the here-and-now with teens to work out solutions to
their problems. Dr. Haight looks at the big picture of a teen's life
and, if required, includes parents, and even siblings, in the treatment
process.
Life Review Therapy for Middle-Age and OlderAdults
Dr.
Haight provides a specialized short-term therapy known as "Life Review"
that is tailored to the needs of mature adults, especially those in
transition. If you consider yourself an "empty-nester" or are
approaching retirement and beyond, this treatment modality may be for
you. It is a wonderful introduction to therapy if you've never before
considered it, and can lay a strong foundation for deeper work if you
desire.
